After the successful launch of the 4G services in Kochi recently, Vodafone India has rolled out its 4G services in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala today. The high-speed broadband services will now be covering 10 towns in Kerala.
The Vodafone will be offering 4G connectivity at a base price of Rs 29 for a 120MB trial pack. The big pack will be priced at Rs 2,499 and offer 20GB of monthly data.
The company also said that it has partnered with Hungama Digital to allow its 4G users to access content without subscription fees.
Vodafone India has also launched a 4G device which emits Wi-Fi signal to which other devices like mobile phones and computers can connect.
Vodafone on December 8 had launched its 4G services in Kochi. Next, the services will be rolled out in Kozhikode. Over the last 18 months Vodafone has invested more than Rs 700 crore in Kerala towards network expansion modernisation to build a technology and energy efficient network architecture to support the volumes and need for speed from customers.
