Microsoft Holding Event on October 6th, Surface Pro 4 expected to launch

Yesterday Microsoft has sent out a media invites for an event it’s holding on 6th, October in New York City where Microsoft is going to unveil a new range of devices running on Windows 10.

The event set to be held in Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City on 6th, October at 10 AM EDT (7 PM IST). The Invitations has been only sent out to select members of the press and the doors will be opened at 9 AM.

The Verge had previously confirmed of the October launch of new devices and according to a report by The Verge, Microsoft will use the event to reveal to its Surface Pro 4 and two new Lumia phones an upcoming event, Microsoft looks set to launch its Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL devices and a new Microsoft Band in the event.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a successor of Surface Pro 3 but rumored to have the same form-factor but will feature a newer Skylake processor and native Windows 10 integration. Surface Pro 4 is also said to come with a 14-inch touchscreen.

The New Microsoft Band is currently anticipated to work best for both smartwatches and fitness bands. Also is rumored that new Band device won’t be running on any kind of variant of Windows 10 inside but still it will be the part of the Windows 10 family of new hardware products.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 will compete With Apple’s iPad Pro which is just launched around week ago. Microsoft will launch Surface Pro 4 in October but no detail about when it will go on sell while Apple’s iPad Pro will go on sell on November.

Both devices are a flagship and it will be interesting to see which one buyers would love to buy.
