Opera Software on Tuesday released out new updates for its Opera and Opera Mini for Android devices. The key features of new update is that the video compression which will shrink the size of online videos so users won’t use up as much data. To turn this feature on just simply go to the Settings menu open Data savings option and select the Video compression. New update also has an ability to add websites to your device’s home screen.
For the Opera Mini the app now tells users when the files have finished downloading. Also any new tab would now open in the background without disturbing the current webpage. The updated app includes enhancements for Facebook notifications and several under-the-hood improvements.
The Opera members also says that both Opera and Opera Mini for Android are getting a visual refresh with the company’s new logo which was introduced in September first. Both of these sizable updates should now be live in the Play Store.
last month Opera launched Opera 33 version for desktops users with new features and bug fixes. Alongside the update the company also brought its recently unveiled new product logo to the browser interface.
