Android 6.1 Rumored to Launch in June, 2016 With Split-Screen Multi-Tasking feature

Just a few days ago Google’s Pixel C Team in a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) in which the group confirmed that split screen function is in the works for Android N version.

Now a recent sources says that the next major update of Android Marshmallow is now said to launch in June 2016 with new features.

The next major update of Android will reportedly be Android v6.1 and not version v7. However, the rumor claims Android 6.1 will keep the Marshmallow nickname. While that doesn’t confirm split screen will arrive with Android 6.1.

According to new report Android 6.1 will be featured with split-screen multitasking alongside with better app permissions. Android 6.1 Marshmallow isn’t expected to come with any new features except split-screen multitasking along with bug fixes.
