Android 6.0 Marshmallow Leaked Information Reveals Which Devices Will Get the Update

After Google has officially announced the new version of Android 6.0 Marshmallow, people are looking for which smartphones will be able to get the new update. Google’s Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X were launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow last week. Google has recently unveiled the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Nexus devices for Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 7 2013 and Nexus Player to get it soon.

Today a leaked list from GizmoChina reveals more information about which devices from each manufacturer companies are set to get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.

Last week HTC had already confirmed few device which will be receiving the new Android 5.0 update. This new list also confirms these models once again includes HTC One M8, M9, M9 Plus, E9, E9 Plus and One E8. Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade with M9 & M8 flagships before the end of 2015 says company and HTC Desire Eye and 820 series are also expected to be upgraded to the new version soon.

According to list Samsung will offer the Android 6.0 update for the company’s flagship devices such as Galaxy Note5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy S5, Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A7 first. Samsung Galaxy A5, A4 and Galaxy E series will also get the update soon.

Sony is planing to including the Xperia M5, C5 Ultra, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3v, Z3 Compact, Z2, Xperia Z Ultr GPE Google Play Edition.

Sony plans to update a whole bunch of devices to the new build, including the Xperia M5, C5 Ultra, Xperia Z3+, Xperia Z3v, Z3 Compact, Z2, Xperia Z Ultr GPE (Google Play Edition). The original Xperia Z1 will also get the update later on. Oddly enough, there’s no mention of the newly unveiled Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium.

OnePlus will offer upgrade its OnePlus One and the newly released OnePlus 2 models to Android 6.0 via new OxygenOS international and HydrogenOS domestic versions. Huawei includes Ascend P8, Mate 7, Honor 6 Plus and more devices will reportedly get the upgrade.

Xiaomi will first get the upgrade will be Xiaomi Mi4, Mi 4i, Mi Note series, Redmi Note 2, Redmi 2 and Redmi 2 prime.

LG will update for the LG G3, G4 and the Flex 2 will get the Marshmallow first. LG users can expect the G2, G2 Pro and G Flex to receive the Marshmallow.

Elephone P8000 is also confirmed to receive the Android 6.0 upgrade.
