A Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone, model number RM-1100 has now appeared in the GFXBench database. The upcoming Microsoft Lumia 940 XL smartphone has also been spotted in websites AdDuplex.
Model name RM-1100 which is being speculated to be the Lumia 940 XL flagship Windows 10 device has been spotted on a benchmark site alongside with specifications.
The Microsoft Lumia 940 XL specifications include a 5.7-inch QHD 2559×1440 resolution display with a calculated pixel density of 515ppi. The Lumia 940 is expected to be launched with 5.2-inch QHD display.
Other specifications of the Microsoft Lumia 940 XL include an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 810 graphics accelerator Adreno 430, 5 MP front facing camera and 17 MP rear camera with PureView sensor, which could actually be a 20 MP which can also record 4K resolution videos as the benchmarks appear to underrate these values. There is a 16 GB built-in storage and 1.5 GB RAM (which is likely to be 2GB) with all the necessary sensors including accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, light sensor, proximity and NFC.
Microsoft Lumia 940 XL will run on Windows 10 Mobile Out of the box.
The recent reports says that the Lumia 940 XL will also be featured with an iris scanner and fingerprint sensor. Both devices are said to sport USB Type-C connectivity.
