Google Gmail helps users to clean up their inbox with two new features “Block Sender” and “Unsubscribe.”
Today Google has introduced a new “Block Sender” feature for Gmail which will allow users to block incoming mail. Gmail also featured with the “Unsubscribe” will be rolled out for the updated Android app.
Block Sender option is available even today in the web interface of Gmail, the Android app will be updated starting next week.
The block function allows users to block any people from sending you emails. The sent emails from blocked users will be sent to your spam folder. To block someone, open up an email from them, click the drop-down menu next to the reply arrow, and choose “Block Sender.”
The “Unsubscribe” feature allows you to stop receiving promotional emails. “Unsubscribe” is available on Gmail’s updated Android app. If you are an Android user and wants to unsubscribe, go to the promotional email, select the “More” option in the top right corner and click “Unsubscribe.”
