ZTE Zmax Pro launched with 6-inch display, fingerprint sensor for just $99

ZTE on Tuesday announced Zmax Pro smartphone the third device in its Zmax line and the successor to the Zmax 2 smartphone at a special ZTE event in New York . The smartphone will be sold in the US by MetroPCS at affordable price of $99.

ZTE Zmax Pro is featured with a 6-inch HD 1080p giant screen protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and use the back of the fingerprint sensor. The front is used similar to the Nubian dots + touch button design. It is powered by 64-bit 1.5 GHz Octa-core Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 617 chipset and Adreno 405 GPU paired with 2 GB of RAM. It offers 32 GB of expandable storage up to 128 GB via microSD card.

ZTE Zmax Pro comes with a 13 MP PDAF rear camera with LED flash light and 5 MP front camera and a USB Type-C (2.0) port and supports 4G LTE network. ZTE Zmax Pro is powered by 3,400 mAh battery and it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

ZTE’s North American CEO Lixin Cheng, said, “It will be hard for other companies to match the level of quality of the device at $99.”
