Xiaomi is going ro celebrate its fifth anniversary this year and speculating to launches the new Xiaomi Mi5. The Xiaomi Mi 5 will be launched with MIUI 7 latest version of Lollipop with MIUI v7. The MIUI 7 update has been codenamed as MiKangy.
Xiaomi’s Android based MIUI operating system has been in circulation for more than 5 years. Xiaomi is now take this further in Mi 5 which a new and improved version of MIUI so called v7. The Xiaomi stated that they will unveil the Xiaomi Mi 5 with the MIUI V7 operating system based on Android Lollipop.
The MIUI 7 is a whole new take on the Android UX. The new UI being developed by both AOKP and Xiaomi is known internally as MiKangy and is expected to combine all of the features available with Cyanogen, PA, Omni and AOKP. MIUI 7 will allow users to “create an experience which completely submerges the user in his own world.
Xiaomi Mi5 features 5.5 IPS LCD inches display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution, 2.7 GHz Quad-core Krait 450 processor with Adreno 420. It comes coupled with 3GB worth of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage memory capacity which is non-expandable. Xiaomi Mi5 features a 16-megapixel camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel camera on the font surface. It gets Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA and NFC for connectivity options.
