Xiaomi launches MiPad 2 tablet with Intel Atom x5-Z850 Chipse for Android and Windows

The new Xiaomi MiPad 2 has a 7.9-inch display with 1536x2048p resolution, same as the original MiPad. It runs on a 2.24GHz Quad-core Intel Atom X5-Z8500 chipset with 2GB of RAM and comes in two storage option 16GB and 64GB.

It sports an 8MP camera at back while a 5MP unit on front. Connectivity features of Xiaomi MiPad 2 include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Along with these, the tablet comes with a USB Type C connector. The battery capacity of the device is 6,190mAh and supports fast-charging technology.

Xiaomi MiPad 2 comes in two variant one with Android Lollipop based on MIUI 7 software and Windows 10 with same set of hardware.

Xiaomi MiPad 2 is an all-metal body that is thinner 6.95mm and lighter 322 grams than the original model. The tablet comes with a USB Type C connector. The battery capacity of the device is 6,190mAh and supports fast-charging technology.

The MiPad 2 16GB model is priced at 999 yuan (approximately Rs 10,399 in India) whereas the 64GB unit is priced 1,299 yuan (approximately Rs 13,499 in India).
