The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will arrive this year, but sooner than we have been expecting. A recent leak suggests the Note 5 will be announced at the end of July this year.
Samsung usually has revealed its Galaxy Note smartphones from the IFA tradeshow in Berlin at the start of September, But this time Samsung won’t wait until the event at IFA in Berlin instead release the Galaxy Note 5 as early as the end of July.
The reason why Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note 5 earlier than IFA event on September, which has seen the unveiling of every previous version of the Galaxy Note, is apparently because it wants to get a head start over Apple, which is rumoured to be releasing the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus on September.
The another reason to release the Galaxy Note 5 early is to offer a launch vessel for the company’s new Samsung Pay system. This could be released to compete against Apple Pay and all the other digital payment services on the market now or due to arrive soon.
Samsung Note 5 will be an upgraded version of Galaxy Note 4 will keep its basic functions. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 specs expected to have 5.89 inch big screen and Edge model with 5.78 inch screen. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be 7.9mm thick only, built with 4100 mAh or higher battery or might have S-pen.
It will run on Exynos chip instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon. Packed with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM, a 16 MP main camera with OIS feature and 8 MP front camera. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature 4K (2160×3840) Super AMOLED display and packs a pixel density of 743ppi.
