Last Week Samsung had launched its new range of Gear S2 smartwatches, the Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic at the IFA 2015 event. The Samsung Gear S2 smartwatch series come with a sporty and cool design with round face and feature a turning bezel that can be used for navigation.
The SmartWatch features a rounded 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 360×360 pixels with 1GHz dual core Exynos 3250 processor works with 512MB of RAM An 4GB of memory and for data transfer it features with Bluetooth 4.1, NFC and Wi-Fi b / g / n and various sensors such as an ambient light sensor, a heart rate monitor, barometer, Motion and acceleration sensor, altimeter and pulse sensor. The smartwatch provides 2-3 days of battery life with 250 mAh battery.
Samsung Gear S2 runs on Tizen OS instead of the Android Wear platform and its a IP 68 rating device of dust and water.
According to German retailer Samsung Gear S2 will be made available for 379 euros (~$425) in Germany and 349 euros (~$391) for other European markets.
The Classic variant features a premium leather strap while The sporty Gear S2 comes with a rubberized band.
