Samsung Galaxy Tab J officially announces in Taiwan with a 7-inch display

Samsung has announced a new budget tablet under Galaxy series the Galaxy Tab J in Taiwan. The Samsung Galaxy Tab J is launched at price of TWD 5,990 (approximately $185) and will be available for sale early next month in country.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab J comes with an 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280×800 pixels resolutions. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM. It offers 8 GB of internal storage which can expand via micro SD card of up to 200 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab J comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with aperture f/1.9 and a 2-megapixel front camera.

Galaxy Tab J is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box skinned with the latest version of Samsung’s TouchWiz custom user interface, which has been pre-loaded with the most recent build of the firm’s Kids Mode and S Bike platforms.

Samsung Galaxy Tab J is powered by 4,000 mAh battery which claims to offer up to 9 hours of usage. Galaxy Tab J supports WiFi but doesn’t support Wi-Fi ac, GPS, micro USB, Bluetooth LE and FM Radio.

The Galaxy Tab J measures 186.9 x 108.8 x 8.7 mm and weighs 360 grams, and available in white and gold color options. As of now, there is no information about the launch of the tablet in global markets.
