Samsung was in news couple of months ago that company would launch Galaxy C series smartphones and today Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy C5 (SM-C5000) smartphone in China. As expected Galaxy C5 has only been launched in China as of now, however there is no word from Samsung to bring it to other countries.
Samsung Galaxy C5 has been launched in China in 32GB and 64GB variants with priced at CNY 2,199 (Approx $335 USD and Rs. 22,499 in India) and CNY 2,399 (Approx $365 USD and Rs. 24,499 in India) respectively. The metal-clad smartphone is up for pre-orders in China, and will go on sale in the first week of June.
Samsung Galaxy C5 features a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor with 4GB RAM. The Galaxy C5 has a fingerprint sensor on the home button as well so it supports Samsung Pay
It comes in 32GB and 64GB of internal storage expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It offers a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy C5 has 4G LTE support and a hybrid dual-SIM slot. The smartphone is powered by a 2,600 mAh battery. Additional connectivity includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and NFC.
It comes in at 145.9 x 72 x 6.7mm and weighs 143g and it will be available in gold, pink gold, gray and silver colors.
