There have seen many rumors and leaks about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series 2016 including Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 and now the Samsung has officially announced all the three devices.
The Galaxy A series 2016 comes with new design combines the new design style with metal and glass to give the smartphones a premium look and upgraded the specifications. The Galaxy A5 (2016) and Galaxy A7 (2016) also support Samsung Pay, Samsung’s mobile payment service and fingerprint verification.
Samsung has also added Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a bigger F1.9 lens on both front and rear cameras for better low-light pictures in the Galaxy A 2016 smartphones.
JK Shin who is a CEO and Head of Samsung Mobile, said,“At Samsung, we are committed to continued innovation, inspired by the feedback and needs of our wide range of consumers.” He also added, “With the introduction of the Galaxy A (2016), we took the consumer feedback on our original Galaxy A models and made thoughtful and impactful improvements offering consumers a seamless convergence of style and performance for their everyday lifestyles.”
Samsung Galaxy A3 has a 4.7-inch Super AMOLED 720p screen and runs on a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB storage with expandable up to 128GB and powered by the non-removable 2,300mAh battery.
On the camera part The Galaxy A3 (2016) has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and has a 5MP selfie camera.
Samsung Galaxy A5 comes with a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display and featured with 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB inbuilt memory with microSD support up to 128GB and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Samsung Galaxy A5 has a 13MP OIS rear camera and 5 MP front camera. It also support for MST technology (Samsung Pay), Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, along with dual-SIM option and powered by 2,900mAh battery with fast-charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A7 comes with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display and featured with a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and has 3GB RAM, 13MP OIS rear camera and 5 MP Front camera. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and 16GB storage with microSD supports up to 128GB.
It also features with support for MST technology (Samsung Pay), Samsung KNOX, S-Voice, along with dual-SIM option.
Connectivity options includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 4.1, ANT+ (for tracking health data, fitness, etc), USB 2.0, NFC (UICC, eSE). It has a 3,300mAh battery with fast-charging support.
All the phones will be available in China in mid December 2015 and will roll-out to global markets later. However, Samsung has not confirmed the price of any devices.
