Philips has been launching a steady flow of smartphones from the last couple of months. In October, company had launched Philips S616 and Philips V787 smartphone that comes with the latest SoftBlue technology that reduces the blue light emission by 86%. Now a Philips is launching new battery-focused smartphone dubbed as Philips Xenium V377 by the end of this month in Russia.
Philips Xenium V377 has an impressive 5,000 mAh battery capacity. According to the manufacturer, this allows the smartphone to manage a single charge up to 48 days of standby time, up to the day of talk or play 3,150 songs.
Philips Xenium V377 comes with a 5-inch IPS-display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor paired with 1 GB of RAM.
It has a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. It offers 8 GB of internal flash memory with support for microSD memory cards up to 32 GB.
Philips Xenium V377 is a dual-SIM smartphone which runs on Android 5.1 and measures 145 x 74 x 10.9 mm and weight 188.5 grams.
The smartphone will be available in December for a suggested retail stores in country for price of 8990 rubles (Approx $130 USD or 8,699 in India), but there’s no news yet on availability for other countries.
