Oppo introduced two new smartphones Oppo R7 and Oppo R7 Plus at a dedicated event in Beijing. Oppo Smartphone is now much demand smartphone in countries like India and other Asian countries as it offers high specification at an affordable price.
Oppo R7 and R7 Plus will be available at a price of 2499 CYN ($403) and 2999 CYN ($483) respectively. The smartphones are currently available for pre-orders from JD.com and Oppostyle websites. While Oppo says Oppo R7 will go on sale in mid-June and Oppo R7 Plus is said to go on sale in August.
Oppo R7 and R7 Plus sport a metallic unibody with chamfered sides. A 2.5D glass covers the front panel and the rear features ‘violin arc’ design. while the R7 Plus includes on-screen buttons. The R7 Plus comes with a fingerprint sensor placed on its rear panel also includes on-screen buttons while the R7 sports three physical capacitive keys back, home and menu at bottom.
Both Oppo R7 and R7 Plus are powered by the same chipset the Snapdragon 615 and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop, Both equip VOOC flash charging technology, which is rated to deliver two hours of talk time in five minutes of charging and charge the handset by 75 percent in 30 minutes.
Oppo R7 is equipped with 5″ AMOLED 1080p display while Oppo R7 Plus is equipped with 6″ AMOLED 1080p display both are protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Both are have Octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM, 16 GB storage could be expanded upto 128GB, 13MP back camera along with 8MP front, supports LTE connectivity. Oppo R7 packed with 2,320 mAh battery and Oppo R7 Plus packed with 4,100 mAh battery.
The R7 Plus also features a fingerprint sensor on its back; this appears to be a touch-based sensor, so you won’t have to swipe across it like on some older devices.
Oppo R7 measures 143x71x6.3 mm and weighs 147 g and Oppo R7 Plus measures 158.18×82.3×7.75 mm and weighs 203 g.
