Nokia said earlier to reenter the smartphone market this year and now Nokia is preparing for a return in grand style on the mobile market. We have already heard some leaks and rumors around what could be its first launch. Recently another alleged Nokia smartphone ruining on Android has surfaced online, called “Nokia P1”.
Back in May, Nokia sent out an official statement saying series of deals that would allow the company to license its name for use on Android powered smartphones and tablets. Manufacturer Foxconn and HMD were the two companies involved in this deal.
Recently Russian social networking site VK shared a official photo, claiming that Nokia came back after the first phone Nokia P1. The image shows a smartphone in two colors Pink and Blue has appeared which is said to be a Nokia upcoming new smartphone ruining on Android called the Nokia P1. But according to reports, it could be a re-branded Sharp Aquos P1 smartphone made by engineers at InFocus/Sharp since Foxconn purchased Sharp earlier this year.
The smartphone is available in a few region and comes with a 5.3-inch FHD display with Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. It also comes with a 22.6-megapixel back camera and smartphone is powered by 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support and IP58 certification for dust-proof body of water repellent.
According to the terms of its deal with Microsoft, Nokia can’t release a new phone using the Nokia brand until the third quarter of 2016. Recently Nokia had also made a 10-year licensing deal with HMD Global to manufacture its products. As per the deal, Nokia will get royalty payments from HMD for the sales of Nokia-branded devices.
