Google Launched LG Nexus 5X with a 5.2 inch 1080p display and Android Marshmallow 6.0

Google Today launched its next generation 2015 Nexus smartphones at its event today in San Francisco, USA, collaboration with the LG made Nexus 5X and the Huawei made Nexus 6P.

Google also launched Pixel C tablet and new Chromecast products.

David Burke a VP Engineering in Android at Google introduced the new Nexus devices, saying the range represented the latest Android software built into the most innovative hardware, meant to deliver “Android as Google designed it.” They will be available via the Google Store, with the Nexus 5X priced starting from $379 for the 16GB model.”

The LG Nexus 5X features a 5.2-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixel resolutions display resulting in a pixel density of 424ppi and protected by Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 with 2GB of RAM. LG Nexus 5X runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

At the back LG Nexus 5X sports a rear 12.3MP camera with dual flash, sensor with a f/2.0 aperture and 1.55 micron pixel size capable of shooting Ultra HD 2160p video. It also features fingerprint sensor and a larger 2700mAh battery and next-gen microUSB Type-C port.

LG Nexus 5X measuring 147 x 72.6 x 7.9m and weight 136 grams, single front-facing speaker which is joined by 3 microphones (at the front, top and bottom), Also includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2×2 MIMO), NFC, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS/GLONASS.

LG Nexus 5X to be available in both 16GB and 32GB versions with colors including black, white and ice blue. The price of Nexus 5X starts at $379.99 and it will begin shipping in late October. However, The LG Nexus 5X pre-order starting from Today. Countries like US, UK, South Korea, Japan and Ireland will be able to pre-order the phone starting at $379.99 for the 32GB variant.
