LG Watch Urbane 2 officially launched first Android Wear watch with 4G LTE support

LG Today has launched first Android Wear smartwatch with 4G LTE connectivity support “LG Watch Urbane 2.”

LG Watch Urbane 2 is an upgraded version of to the LG Watch Urbane smartwatch launched earlier this year.

LG Watch Urbane 2 is a Android Wear watch comes with a built-in cellular connection for calls and browsing Internet via a nano-SIM which can connect to LTE and 3G or to your smartphone via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The LG Watch Urbane 2 features a 1.38inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 480p and it is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset with 768MB of RAM. The Urbane 2 has a 4GB of inbuilt memory and has a 570mAh battery and supports an accelerometer, gyro, compass barometer, and GPS.

LG Watch Urbane 2 is also a dust and water resistant and offers the ability to enable/disable the Ambient display.

The LG Urbane 2 has 16 included apps such as watch faces, special fitness apps and features, workout tips, and even stress level monitoring.

LG Watch Urbane 2 is made by stainless steel and four different bands Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White and Signature Brown color options.

LG has not confirmed pricing and a release for the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition, However, LG says the watch will first arrive to the US and Korea, followed by its release in selected markets of Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
