LG has introduced its a new smartphone “Stylus 2” ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 scheduled to take place in Barcelona next week.
The LG Stylus 2 is said to be the successor of G4 Stylus which was launched previous year. LG Stylus 2 will be available in the Korean market in titan, white and brown colour options.
LG Stylus 2 comes with a 5.7-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. LG Stylus 2 is featured with 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded further using a microSD card.
Stylus 2 smartphone equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera. Stylus 2 connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC (optional).
Stylus 2 is powered by 3,000 mAh battery and comes with a Stylus pen with nano-coated tip which claims to offer more accuracy as compared to the previous rubber tipped pen. It’s also touting a new Calligraphy Pen font which is says will let people write with the stylus as if it were a fountain pen.
Another new included Pen Pop feature shows a pop-up menu when the stylus is removed to provide Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. There is also a Pen Keeper which will prevent your stylus from getting misplaced and the device will also give a pop-up message if the Stylus bay is empty.
There is no confirmation of pricing yet but company says the device will be priced at mid-rang. The company will be showing the Stylus 2 at MWC next week in Barcelona.
