LG had announced its flagship smartphone, the LG G4 in April, 2015. According to recent reports LG is going to launch a niche smartphone model called a LG G4 Pro which will sport metal casing.
Jun-ho Cho who is a CEO of LG’s mobile business, revealed that the company is working on another top-end smartphone that it plans to launch in the second half of 2015.
Rumours says that LG G4 Pro sports a 5.8 inch screen with 1440×2560 pixels as the display resolution. The QHD panel supports the IPS technology and is protected against scratches by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 or 4.
LG G4 Pro will pack with Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM is inside along with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage. A 27MP camera at back and an 8MP front.
LG G4 Pro may run on Android Lollipop v5.1 or Android M, straight out of the box with the Optimus UX UI v4.0 on top. LG G4 Pro may feature a standard battery module that is Qi-enabled and supports wireless charging. The LG G4 Pro supports 3G and 4G LTE connectivity besides built-in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 with A2DP and GPS. A 3.5mm audio jack is included in addition to the stereo FM radio with RDS compatibility.
The LG G4 Pro will soon roll out in Grey, Gold, White and several other colors.
LG G4 Pro is believed to release in October. Price information for the LG G4 Pro is yet to be released.
