Lenovo’s new smartphone named Zuk Z1 which was announced last week in China comes with Cyanogen operating system 12.1 will hit the store in mid-October this year. The original version of the phone has Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS with Lenovo’s ZIUI interface.
“Cyanogen is excited to be the OS for Zuk Z1’s international version. The Chinese version of the Z1 became an instant success with more than 2 million pre-orders in one week. Be on the lookout for the Z1 in mid-October” says Lenovo.
According to company Cyanogen is third largest platform with over 50 million installs which is more than combined both Windows Phone and BlackBerry.
Lenovo Zuk Z1 features include a Full HD 5.5″ 1080p screen display, Snapdragon 801 chipset with 3 GB of RAM, a fingerprint sensor, a 13 MP rear camera with dual-LED flash light and optical image stabilization (OIS) and a fast 0.3 second auto-focus along with 8 MP front camera, USB Type-C port. 64GB storage, LTE notwork connectivity, 4,100 mAh battery.
ZUK Z1 is going to sale internationally in October. The smartphone is priced around $280 in China, but its international price will be a little more.
ZUK announced that the worldwide version of the Z1 will also be available in Europe, America, the Southeast Asia and the Middle East countries.
