Samsung Galaxy Active Neo Launched in Japan Available via NTT DoCoMo

Samsung has launched a Galaxy Active Neo smartphone in Japan would be sold through local carrier NTT DoCoMo in early November. The Galaxy Active Neo is priced at JPY 20,000 (roughly $166 USD).

The Galaxy Active Neo smartphone for now is limited to only Japanese market and no official word on its availability in other countries.

The Galaxy Active Neo is a mid-range smartphone offering a 4.5-inch 480p WVGA display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and its powered by the Snapdragon 410 Quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex-A53 CPU with 2GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. An 8MP rear camera with 2MP selfie shooter, 16GB data storage can expandable storage up to 128GB by MicroSD card slot also offers an 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for 2 years and 2,200 mAh battery.


Samsung Galaxy Active Neo runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and connectivity package includes LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC.

Samsung Galaxy Active Neo is a IP68 certified smartphone means its dust and water-resistant and also a MIL-STD-810G certified making it humidity, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock resistant.

Samsung Galaxy Active Neo able to take 2 tons of weight and withstand a drop from 1.5metres as well. The smartphone will be available in Camo White and Solid Black colour variants.
