Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Launched in India with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 SoC, First In The Country

After launching the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 in China, Xiaomi today launched Redmi Note 3 in Indian market.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was first launched with MediaTek-based in China in November last year. Xiaomi has now introduced a new Qualcomm-based variant of the handset in India.

The new variant of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 runs Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 650 SoC. The Redmi Note 3 will be available in two storage versions – one including 2GB of RAM with 16GB of inbuilt storage and other 3GB of RAM with 32GB of inbuilt storage.

The 2GB variant is priced at Rs. 9,999 while the 3GB variant is priced at Rs. 11,999. The sells stars from Wednesday via Mi.com and Amazon.in. However, It will go on sale on Flipkart and Snapdeal later.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with a all-metal body and also packs a fingerprint scanner at the back.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 will be available in Dark Grey, Champagne Gold, and Silver colours, and Xiaomi says the smartphone is its third ‘Make in India’ offering in the country.

The New Redmi Note 3 is featured with Hexa-core Snapdragon 650 processor (4x Cortex-A53 cores and 2x Cortex-A72 cores) and a 5.5-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels IPS display and offers 178-degree viewing angle. Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and two-tone flash along with a 5-megapixel front camera.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is a dual-SIM (Micro + Nano) smartphone and runs on MIUI 7 based on Android Lollipop. The handset packs a 4050mAh battery with fast charging support that can charge up to 50 percent in 1 hour.
