Samsung Galaxy A8 launched In China with 5.9mm thickness, Samsung’s thinnest smartphone ever

Samsung is expanding its Galaxy A line-up series with the launch of the Galaxy A8 in China. Samsung Galaxy A8 measures only 5.9mm thickness, the Galaxy A8 is samsung’s thinnest smartphone on market till date.

Samsung Galaxy A8 brings a 5.7-inch full HD 1080p Super AMOLED display, Powered by a 1.5 GHz 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor and 2 GB RAM. The Galaxy A8 also sports a fingerprint scanner integrated with the phone’s Home button.

Samsung Galaxy A8 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB storage options with a microSD card slot for expansion.

Samsung Galaxy A8 camera includes 16 MP ISOCELL rear camera with 1.0 µm pixels as well as Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a fast f/1.9 lens and a 5 MP front-facing camera and packed with 3,050 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 3G, 4G (both FDD LTE and TDD LTE), dual-band Wi-Fi (no 802.11ac support), Bluetooth 4.1, ANT +, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou and NFC.

Samsung Galaxy A8 now available in China in white, black and gold color. However, the price and availability of the device has not been listed but, It is rumored that Samsung Galaxy A8 may price around $385.
