QiKU a Chinese smartphone brand today announced its entry into the Indian market with the Q Terra 808 for priced at Rs 21,999. However, QiKU Terra 808 is available at a special price of Rs 19,999 for its ‘Gamechangers Fan Community’ through Q Invites.
QiKU is a joint venture between Qihoo 360 a Chinese Internet company and Coolpad, Now has launched its first smartphone in India.
The QiKU Terra 808 will go on sell from December 5 exclusively via Gadgets 360.
The QiKU Q Terra 808 offers high-end specifications. It sports a 6-inch full-HD IPS display and it is featured by 2.0GHz Qualcomm’s hexa-core Snapdragon MSM8992 808 SoC with Adreno 418 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
A 16GB of internal storage with support for additional storage up to 128GB via microSD card.
QiKU Terra 808 sports dual 13 MP rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, and features like ‘Fast Focus’ (as low as 0.1 seconds), geo-tagging, and support for 4K video recording. One 13 MP sensor (Sony IMX278) captures a normal colour image, while the second (Sony IMX214 Mono) captures a black and white image. When combined, QiKU says the resultant image has better colour accuracy. While there is a 8 MP front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and capable of shooting videos in full-HD resolution.
QiKU Terra 808 is a dual-SIM (Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM) smartphone supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi, and other standard connectivity features. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and 3,700mAh battery with support for faster charging.
QiKU Terra 808 runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop-based Qihoo 360 OS with additional security features.
Announcing the price, Varun Sharma, CEO, Qiku India, said the company wanted to build a strong community of “Game changers in India and as a special privilege for being part of this community the brand would extend the Q invite entitling them exclusively to a game-changing price of Rs 19,999.
