Microsoft Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL Set to Launch on Monday in India

Microsoft is sending press invites for the launch of its first Windows 10 Mobile handsets the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL in India. However both devices are listed on official website with coming soon tag.

The launch event will be held in New Delhi and Microsoft India Chairman Bhaskar Pramanik and Microsoft Mobile Devices Country Head Ajay Mehta will see in attendance.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 is Dual Nano-SIMs smartphone comes with a 5.2-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) ClearBlack AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood the Lumia 950 is featured by a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The handset sports a 20-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilisation), an f/1.9 aperture, and a triple-LED RGB flash module. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It offers 32GB of inbuilt storage and is expandable up to 200GB via microSD card. It comes with USB Type-C port (USB 3.1) and packed with a 3,000mAh removable battery.

On the other hand the Lumia 950 XL also support dual standby with Nano-SIM card support and comes with a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) ClearBlack AMOLED display with a pixel density of 518ppi. It is featured with by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and offers 32GB storage and is expandable via microSD card up to 200GB. The Lumia 950 XL Dual SIM features the same camera module from the Lumia 950. The Lumia 950 XL packs a large 3,340mAh battery.

Earlier this month, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced that the company plans to launch both its newly launched Windows 10 Mobile powered handsets in India by December at conference in Mumbai. Both devices runs on Windows 10 Mobile OS and both are featured with liquid-cooled.
