Microsoft in India has launched the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL today.
The company has launched the Lumia 950 in India for priced at Rs 43,699 (Approx $655.99 USD) while the Lumia 950 XL is priced at Rs 49,399 (Approx $740.99 USD).
Both these are a dual-SIM dual standby 4G enabled smartphones support dual Nano-SIM cards and will go on sale starting December 11 via Amazon India, Reliance Digital stores and Microsoft Priority sellers.
Pre-order bookings start on Monday and the smartphones will be available to buy both online and physical retail stores. However, Users who pre-order the smartphone will get a Display Dock free worth Rs 5,999 while stocks last.
The Lumia 950 comes with 5.2-inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and the larger 950 XL comes with a 5.7-inches IPS display with 2,560 x 1,440. The Lumia 950 is powered by a Hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 while the larger Lumia 950 XL is powered by 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810.
Both smart phone has a 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage expandable up to 2TB, 20 MP f/1.9 rear cameras with Tricolor LED Flash and 5MP wide angle front cameras and runs over Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
Comes to the connectivity options both smartphone support Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.1, NFC, USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS.
The Lumia 950 is packed with 3,000mAh battery and 950 XL has a 3,340mAh batteries. Microsoft also announced that the Lumia 950 XL will feature liquid cooling technology.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella announced at recently concluded Future Unveiled conference in Mumbai that company plans to launch both its newly launched Windows 10 Mobile devices in India by December.
