Today Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched the Canvas 5 a successor of company’s Canvas series. The Canvas 5 is launched with price of Rs 11,999 and goes to sale on both online and offline starting today.
On the launch event Vineet Taneja who is a CEO at Micromax Informatics, said, “With the launch of Canvas 5 around Diwali, we are introducing our newest Canvas flagship that will be game changer in the smartphone space targeting those who don’t want to compromise and are keen to experience the new levels of multi-tasking and superb performance.”
Micromax launches Canvas 5 comes with a sturdy and stylish metal body, 4.8mm visual thickness and Metal Side Frame.
Canvas 5 packed with a 3GB of DDR3 RAM, 1.3GHz Mediatek (MT 6753) Octa-Core Processor, 5.2 inch FHD display (1080p) with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. An 13MP autofocus rear camera with LED Flash featured with 5P lens & Blue Optical Filter along with 5MP Front camera with Flash.
Camera software features includes Picture-in-Picture to capture shots with the rear & front camera at the same time.
16GB inbuilt memory with 64GB Expandable Memory, Quick Settings, Auto connects to better Wi Fi network in range, Notifications on lock screen also Priority Mode to get faster access by customizing app usage. Micromax launches Canvas 5 is a 4G LTE enabled, CAT 4 enabled, 150Mbps Download speed/ 50Mbps Upload Speed, Wi fi, USB, Bluetooth.
Micromax launches Canvas 5 is charged by 2,900mAh marathon battery which is claimed to offer 275 hours standby time and 10 hours of talk time. Canvas 5 runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 out-of-box.
