On 30, June Meizu launched its new flagship smartphone MX5 in China. Meizu MX5 smartphone features a full metal body with physical home button, the physical button houses a fingerprint sensor.
Meizu MX5 comes in three variants 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB of storage variants.
The Meizu MX5 comes with a 5.5″ full-HD Super AMOLED 1080p display which roughly translates to 401ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795) processor coupled with PowerVR G5200 GPU and 3 GB of RAM, runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop-based Flyme 4.5 OS and supports dual-SIM with both the SIM supporting 4G.
The Meizu MX5 offers a 20.7 MP rear camera with Sony IMX220 Exmor RS BSI sensor, laser autofocus and dual tone LED flash. The rear camera can record videos at 4K Ultra HD resolution. There is a 5 MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and Micro-USB.
The MX5 is equipped with a brand-new fingerprint identification system: mTouch 2.0. The new fingerprint sensor makes identification faster and the appearance smoother and elegant. There’s even a colored PVD on the 0.45 mm metal ring, blending the comfortable bevel into the color of the entire body. The smartphone is 7.6 mm thick and weighs just 149 grams.
Meizu MX5 packed with the 3150 mAh battery. Meizu featured with mCharge tech, a fast charging of sorts, which will be able charge your phone 25% in ten minutes and and up to 60% within 40 minutes.
Meizu MX5 is likely to release in India first week of August. The Meizu MX5 16 GB model may come with price around ₹18,999, 32 GB model around ₹20,999 and 64 GB model around ₹24,999.
