Reliance Retail ‘s LYF is an Indian mobile handset company recently launched a two new smartphone with affordable prices under Water series, the Water 4 and the Water 6 at price of Rs. 7,599 and Rs. 8,999 respectively.
Both the LYF Water 4 and LYF Water 6 smartphones come with almost same identical specifications, with minor differences such as inbuilt storage capacity, colour variants, weight, and dimensions.
Both are dual-SIM (Micro-SIM + Micro-SIM) smartphones and both SIM slots support 4G, But only one can be used for 4G connectivity at a time, while the other will become 2G enabled. Both smartphones run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
The LYF Water 4 features a 5-inch 720p HD IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass protection and 5-point multi-touch, a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 2GB of RAM. The LYF Water 4 offers 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera.
The Water 4 comes with Sleek unibody design with silver metallic finish and textured back for enhanced grip and comfort and only 16 GB of inbuilt storage which can not be expanded. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G, and VoLTE.
LYF Water 4 is powered by a 2920 mAh battery for 15 hours of 4G talk time, 5 hours of video playback or 19 hours of music and measures 142 x 70 x 7.7 mm and weighs 138.5 grams.
LYF Water 4 is currently available in only White color and bears sensor like a proximity, ambient light, accelerometer and gyroscope.
LYF Water 6 comes with nearly identical specifications to the LYF Water 4. The only differences are it comes with 32 GB of inbuilt storage and available in White Gold color. The smartphone measures 142 x 70.5 x 8 mm and weighs 136 grams.
