LG is going to launch its latest LG X Screen smartphone in India this July 18. The LG X screen was first unveiled ahead of MWC 2016 alongside the LG X cam smartphone. The LG started global rollout of the X screen and X cam handsets in March.
LG X Screen comes with secondary ‘always on’ screen that will display notifications such as incoming calls and messages. Users can also customize it to display their name, Quote and any personal message that will appear all the time. You can also check time, date, battery status and notifications without turning on the phone.
The LG X Screen features a 4.93-inch 720p HD primary display while its secondary 1.76-inch display has 520 x 80 pixels resolution. The smartphone comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor with 2 GB of RAM, 16 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 2 TB.
The LG X Screen runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and powered by 2300 mAh battery. The smartphone sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and it is a dual sim smartphone supports 4G LTE connectivity. LG X Screen will be available in Black, White and Pink Gold colors.
The X Screen smartphone has gone on sale in select countries for priced around $290, So we can expect LG to launch LG X Screen smartphone in India for price around Rs 20,000.
