Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is now officially launched in India at a price of Rs 8,499 (Approx $127 USD), which was first shown at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona.
Sudhin Mathur Lenovo’s Director for smartphones revealed that India is the first country to get the new smartphone.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus include an 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display with 441ppi density and is featured by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 616 64-bit octa-core processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB storage with microSD support up to 128GB using a microSD card. Vibe K5 Plus features a 13 megapixel auto-focus rear camera along with LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The smartphone is powered by 2,750mAh battery which the company claims it offers up to 15.1 hours of talk time and up to 322 hours on standby mode and runs on Android 5.1 wrapped under Vibe UI.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots with 4G LTE network support, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Lenovo also offers preloaded apps like SHAREit, SNAPit, and Guvera Music among others.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is compatible with ANTVR headset, supports ‘TheaterMax’ which was first introduced on the Lenovo K4 Note. This technology can convert any multimedia content into a virtual reality experience like games or videos. TheaterMax can convert them into “immersive large screen experience boasting smooth graphics, life-like surround sound and responsive 3D gameplay.
Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is dual-SIM smartphone and made by aluminum body with a removable back cover. The Vibe K5 Plus will be available in three colors options Champagne Gold, Platinum Silver and Graphite Grey.
The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus is priced at Rs. 8499 and will be available exclusively through Flipkart starting on March 23, 2016 at 12 noon and there is no registration required. During the first sale, there will also be an exclusive exchange and upgrade offer for existing Lenovo A6000 and A6000 Plus users.
