Both the smartphones are listed on the company’s site with pricing details. The Lava X17 will be available in champaign gold and black steel color variants whereas the X50 will be available in blue color only. Both smartphones are 4G enabled and support VoLTE.
The Lava X17 features a 5-inch HD 720×1280 pixels IPS display and is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. It offers an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash along and supports slow motion and time lapse videos. There is an also 5-megapixel front-facing camera with dual-LED flash as well. The smartphone comes with 8 GB of built-in expandable storage via microSD card up to 32GB.
Connectivity options include 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB 2.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Lava X17 is powered by a 2,350 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. It comes with accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
The smartphone comes with plastic body and measures 145 x 72 x 8.5 mm.
Lava X50 features a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display and powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 2GB of RAM. It offers an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with an LED flash as well. It comes with 8 GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage via microSD card up to 32 GB.
Lava X50 supports dual-SIM and both the SIMs are 4G compatible though Lava points out that only one SIM at a time can be on 4G network. The smartphone is powered by 2,800 mAh battery and runs on Android v5.1 Lollipop, upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
The connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro-USB. Lava X50 also comes with a plastic body and measuring 155 x 71.8 x 8.8 mm.
