Karbonn has unveiled a new smartphone Quattro L55 HD in India. As of now the smartphone is listed on the company’s official website, however, the price and availability details are not known yet.

Karbonn Quattro L55 HD is a budget smartphone features a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS display and powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor with 2 GB of RAM. The Karbonn Quattro L55 HD have an 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera. The smartphone comes with 16 GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 32 GB.

Karbonn Quattro L55 HD is powered by a 2,700 mAh Li-Po battery, which is rated to deliver up to 130 hours of standby time, 9 hours of talk time and claims it takes up to 4 hours to completely charge.

The smartphone supports connectivity options such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and microUSB. However, the USP of the phone is 4G LTE support with VoLTE, which enables the phone to offer HD voice call quality.

Karbonn Quattro L55 HD is a dual-SIM smartphone and runs on Kandy UI v1.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Karbonn had launched Aura Power an entry-level smartphone for price at Rs 5,990 in India earlier this month. The Aura Power supports 4G VoLTE and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery, the handset offered up to 17 hours of talk-time and up to 1200 hours of standby time.
