Today Karbonn has unveiled its new Aura Power smartphone in India for price at Rs. 5,990 (Approx $89 USD). Company says it is targeting the “growing 4G subscriber base” with its Aura Power smartphone.
Karbonn Aura Power specifications include a 5-inch IPS FWVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution, a 1 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1 GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 8GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
The smartphone sports an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Karbonn Aura Power is a dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box and supports 4G on one SIM at a time.
The Aura Power supports 4G LTE bands in India, FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz), Band 5, and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The smartphone also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility.
Karbonn Aura Power is powered by 4000 mAh non-removable battery that offers up to 17 hours of talk-time and up to 1200 hours of standby time. The connectivity options include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot functionality, Bluetooth, FM radio, Micro-USB 2.0 and GPS.
Karbonn Aura Power measures 141 x 71.2 x 10 mm and weighs 175 grams and will be available in Champagne and Dark Blue colors.
