Dell Launched world’s thinnest tablet Dell Venue 8 7000 in India

On 11th June Dell has launched the Venue 8 7000 series tablet in the India. Dell claims to be the world’s thinnest Android tablet measuring 215.9 x 124.2 x 6 mm and weighing only 306g.

Ray Wah a vice president of consumer product marketing at Dell said: “We are designing products that are thin and light, offer exceptional battery life, with style and performance, service and software solutions that customers can only get from Dell.”

This Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet sports a Aluminum body with front stereo speakers and measures 6.1 mm thickness which is thinner than Apple iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3.

Dell Venue 8 7000 specs includes 8.4 inch OLED infinity display with 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 2.3GHz Quad Core Intel Atom Z3580 processor  with 2 GB RAMat its core alongside Intel HD PowerVR G6430 graphics unit, comes in 16 GB and 32 GB variants and it’s expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card slot. 8-megapixels rear camera and 2-megapixels front, it features Intel RealSense 3D technology that includes two 720p cameras to capture the depth map of every picture taken. Support for Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 with Miracast. Dell Venue 8 packed with 5,900mAh battery at the core. The company promise up to 9.8 hours of battery life.

Dell Also announced few more products for the Indian market including XPS 13, Alienware 15 and 17 and Dell Inspiron 5000 laptops.

The Dell has launched the Dell Venue 8 a 7000 series tablet in India and priced it at ₹34,999 and The sale of Venue 8 series tablet will be started from July onward.
