John Chen who is a CEO at BlackBerry has recently said that the company is making smartphone running on Google’s Android OS only if it could make it secure enough.
The smartphone will reportedly be called “Venice” and could feature a physical QWERTY keyboard that slides out.
Just a week back Evan Blass has posted a high-resolution render of the device named Venice, on Twitter. A new image shows a phone similar to the Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge with curved sides screen.
The rumors of the BlackBerry Venice is said to feature a dual-edge curved display inclusion of 5.4-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display, a 1.8 GHz hexa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 808 SoC, 3 GB of RAM, Adreno 418 GPU, an 18 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front-facing camera, 32 GB of internal storage expandable further up to 128GB and 3,650 mAh battery.
The report says that BlackBerry is planning to release the “Venice” around November this year. BlackBerry Venice is a mid-end specs smartphone and as per our speculation the price of BlackBerry Venice in India would be around ₹50,000 to ₹60,000.
