Apple had announced its latest flagship device iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus on 9, September. Apple is launching its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus in 12 countries on 25th, September but India wasn’t on the initial list of countries to get the device nor have official launch dates for India.
However, it is anticipated that Apple might launch the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus in India by Diwali coming to October to cash in on the festive season in India. Taking this opportunity the grey market in India has begun taking pre-orders.
According to Economic Times, grey market vendors in Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata says that the new iPhones would be available in the grey market within two days of their US launch, their agents in the US will place orders at Apple Stores in the US when the company starts pre-orders on 16, September and ship the phones to India within a couple of days of the 25, September launch.
Apple iPhone 6s is expected to launch in India between price of ₹70,000 and ₹80,000 while The iPhone 6s Plus would come with price between ₹80,000 and ₹90,000. But the price of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be around ₹1 lakh in grey market according to Mumbai dweller Heera Panna a mobile store owner. The Rose Gold edition is the most popular among the device seems to come with additional ₹10,000 to ₹15,000.
