Prior rumors have said that HTC will be launching a smartwatch at the upcoming CES event january,2015. but the date was pushed back to CES 2015. Details of the device are unclear though, as it could be a smartwatch or a fitness tracker.
HTC will launch its next flagship smartphone May be called the One M9 or Hima alongside a HTC’s first wearable device speculating fitness band at this year’s Mobile World Congress. The source says that company is making a smartwatch is incorrect, HTC’s recent partnership with Under Armour will see both companies collaborate on a fitness band.
No detail is available yet about HTC fitness trackers but it might featured such as heart rate monitoring, a pedometer, calorie counter, GPS, and etc. Also feature a combination of metal and plastics, perhaps with a metal clock face and a plastic strap.
It wasn’t too long ago when HTC had begun to send out invites to an upcoming event that they would be holding on the 1 March, 2015 which is when MWC 2015 is expected to kick off. No pricing has been confirmed, but HTC wearable device might be cost you around around £179, as the LG G Watch costing £159 and Motorola’s Moto 360 £199.
