HTC One M9s launched With MediaTek Helio X10 SoC

HTC is now expanding it’s One series with launching of One M9s. The One M9s has been launched in Taiwan.

HTC One M9s looks identical to One M9 and comes with a few notable changes in hardware. One of the differences between the two devices is that HTC One M9s featured with the Mediatek Helio X10 chipset.

The HTC One M9s comes with a 5-inch Full HD LCD display. The One M9s comes with just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with microSD cards for expansion by up to 2TB.

HTC One M9s sports 13MP primary camera with LED flash, autofocus, BSI sensor and optical image stabalization and is covered by saphhire glass and the 4MP UltraPixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture is backed by dual-LED flash.

Connectivity options in the phone include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, Infrared, DLNA and NFC. It packs a 2,840mAh battery under the hood.

It measures 144.6 x 69.7 x 9.6mm and 158g of weighs and available in three color options silver, gold and gray.

The smartphone has only been launched in the Taiwan for priced at TWD 12,900 (Approx $394.99 or Rs. 26,299). It is currently up for pre-orders on the company’s e-commerce website. However, no word about its availability in other markets.

HTC said that consumers can even get their hands on the so-called HTC Dot View second generation protective sleeve, which they can use to provide a protective cover to their handset. With color options such as pink, gray and blue, the protective cover also allows consumers to perform basic tasks on their handset without the need to open the cover. These include checking the time, the weather and other notifications.
