HTC today has officially announced a new variant of its flagship 2014 HTC One M8s. The new HTC One M8s is equipped with a new 13-Megapixel Duo camera and 64-bit chipset and go on sell from next week for a suggested retail price of 499 euros.
HTC has retained the metal body in One M8s. The 4-UltraPixel duo camera has been replaced with a 13-megapixel duo camera in HTC One M8s with a 28mm lens and an aperture of f/2.0. The front 5-megapixel camera is the same as the one the One M8. Under the hood, an octa-core Cortex-A53 processor with S64-bit snapdragon 615-soc Qualcomm, 2GB RAM available and provides the Adreno 405 graphics performance.
HTC One M8s comes with 5-inch 1080p display, stereo speakers on the front and runs on Android v5.0 with Sense Lollipop 6, 2840mAh battery and has 16GB of storage memory available with a microSD card slot. Connectivity options on the handset include 4G LTE, GPS/ A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, and NFC. The One M8s will be available in Glacial Silver, Gunmetal Gray, and Amber Gold colour options.
The HTC One M8s is launching in the UK first at price of £380 well below the new HTC One M9.
