Officially there is no confirmation about Google Nexus 2016 release yet. But the recent reports surfaced saying that the upcoming smartphones will be made by both HTC and Huawei.
Google is said to be releasing Nexus 2016 on Android 7 Nougat platform soon. Speculations suggest Google will also be unveiling the next-gen Nexus flagships vehicles for the new Android version. While Google has yet to confirm the details of the launches of both Android 7 Nougat and the Google Nexus 2016.
However, Google is expected to launch two new Nexus smartphone with better experience than any other Nexus smartphone to date.
Now the physical appearance of the highly rumored Google Nexus 2016 handsets might be called as HTC Nexus Sailfish and Marlin recently discovered on 3D concept render of the handsets. The HTC Marlin and Sailfish are expected to be faster than old Nexus smartphones. However, both smartphone are said to come with few similar features.
The HTC Nexus Sailfish and Marlin 3D concept render was created by Tech Configurations, and the outcome of it was showcased on a video posted on YouTube.
The designers at Techconfigurations, who come up with similar videos for other unreleased mobile products, took Android Police’s Nexus render and created a 3D version of it. One detail the YouTube channel got wrong concerns the headphone jack, as both devices are expected to have a 3.5mm port for standard headphones.
Last year Google launched two Nexus smartphone partnered with LG and Huawei to create the Nexus 5X and 6P. This year, HTC was rumored to be the company tapped to make the Google Nexus 2016. However, According to rumors Huawei is said to be working on a Google Nexus 2016 smartphone as well.
HTC Nexus 2016 is speculated to feature Snapdragon 821 SoC with have at least 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of expandable onboard storage.
According to report Google is also planing an Android Nougat update to most of its existing Nexus lineups, such as the current gen. Nexus 6P and 5X, will also be rolled out soon for previous-gen Nexus flagships and Nexus 9 tablet.
