Chinese mobile phone manufacturer Gionee, will release its latest flagship smartphones Elife E8 and Marathon M5 at China Film Directors Center, Beijing on June 10.
One of the biggest highlights of the Elife E8 is its 23.7 MP rear camera, which will be able to produce photographs up to 100MP in resolution and it will also be the first Android smartphone to offer lossless zoom.
Gionee aims to make it as the best camera phone in the market. And Marathon M5 will also be released at the same time. It will pack a huge 6,020 mAh battery, a great improvement over the 5,000mAh battery in it ancestor M3.
People have been plagued by battery problem since smartphone displays getting bigger and brighter, M5 is designed to solve this problem. Gionee will give the phone a four-day battery life.
William Lu, the president of Gionee, will reveal all the detailed features of the two smartphones at the launch event. He will also announce Gionee’s cooperation with the National Geographic contributing photographer Fritz Hoffmann.
Delegation from Gionee’s partners such as Sumsang, Visidon, MTK, Baidu, Suning, JD.com, Guomei, D.Phone, Sina and Tencent will attend the event.
Media from China, India and Myanmar will do the report on the spot. Both new smartphones will be launched in different countries and areas later.
