Gionee announced its latest smartphones Elife E8 in Beijing on June 10th. One of the biggest highlights is its 23.7 MP rear camera, which will be able to produce photographs up to 100MP in resolution and it is the first Android smartphone to offer loss less zoom. Gionee aims to make it the best shooting phone in the market.
William Lu, president of Gionee also announced Gionee’s cooperation with The National Geographic contributing photographer Fritz Hoffmann. The photographer showed some great photos which were taken by E8 and he pronounced himself quite satisfied with its camera. Hoffmann will keep using E8 to take more photographs and share them with Gionee in the following years.
The advertisement of E8 was put on New York Times Square billboard on 12th, June . It will be released in different countries later.
Gionee Elife E8 comes with Biological (fingerprint) recognition system, 6-inch WQHD AMOLED screen with 2560*1440 display resolution, it is featured by 2.0 GHz Octa Core Chipset MTK 6795 with 3GB of RAM, 24 MP rear autofocus camera along with 8MP front camera, 64GB ROM.
The connectivity option includes FDD/TDD, WCDMA/TD-SCDMA, GSM, Wi-Fi 2.4G/5G, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Micro, USB 2.0, GPS with A-GPS, DLNA.
Gionee Elife E8 is powered by 3,500mAh battery and runs on Android v5.0 Lollipop based on Amigo UI
