BlackBerry Prague may run on Android likely to release in August

Another rumor has surfaced that BlackBerry is all set to introduce smartphones that run on the Android instead of the company’s BlackBerry 10 OS. Latest updates say that the BlackBerry’s first Android smartphone name could be “Blackberry Prague.”

This new device is rumored to feature a full touchscreen display and designed would be similarly to the BlackBerry Z3.

According N4BB, that BlackBerry’s Android smartphone will be a relatively low-end all-touch smartphone and will be sold in emerging markets.

This week news surfaced saying that BlackBerry is working to make company’s first Android smartphone. First it was believed that BlackBerry “Venice” could be the first BlackBerry’s Android device which now turns up bit more complicated. According to N4BB the Venice might not run Android at all and BlackBerry could launch an Android smartphone as soon as August.

According to report BlackBerry Venice could be launched in November with high-end features like a 5.4-inch curved Quad HD display and a six-core Snapdragon 808 processor.

The BlackBerry Prague is expected to be launched in August ahead of the launch of the BlackBerry Venice slider which may or may not run on Android.
