A series of benchmarks found the GFXBench site indicate that a new Blackberry smartphone might be featured with a Exynos 7420 SoC which is already been presented in the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Upcoming BlackBerry smartphone is spotted in GFXBench listings suggesting that company may be testing use of Samsung’s Exynos 7 chips in its new devices.
BlackBerry’s first Android based smartphone is the “Priv” which was just made debut few days ago and it’s powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 chipset. Now it looks like company could extend its partnership to other chip-set suppliers.
Benchmark result shows that BlackBerry smartphone is codenamed as STV100-1 in GFXBench listings and according to listings, the device will feature a 5.1-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) display and featured with 2.1GHz Samsung’s octa-core Exynos 7420 processor include 3GB of RAM. There are 32GB inbuilt storage and a 16 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front camera.
