Asus on Tuesday has launched company’s new tablet named ZenPad 3S 10 at an event in Taiwan. Asus ZenPad 3S 10 will go on sale in Taiwan starting on 1st, August. There is no word on a global launch yet. Asus ZenPad 3S 10 will be available on priced at TWD 11,000 (Approx $342 usd).
The ZenPad 3S 10 features a 9.7-inch touchscreen with 4:3 aspect ratio and 2048 x 1536 resolution with LED backlighting. The tablet is equipped with Tru2Life technology which enhances brightness, sharpness and picture contrast. ZenPad 3S 10 has 1.6 GHz hexa-core MediaTek chipset with two Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores, PowerVR GX6250 graphics paired with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, which can further expand via a microSD card up to 128GB through microSD cards.
The new ZenPad 3S 10 sports an 8 MP back camera along with a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It is powered by a 5,900 mAh battery with a claimed backup of up to 10 hours with fast charging 3.0 support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow underneath ASUS ZenUI.
The tablet supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth , USB Type-C, GPS and GLONASS. It has a finger print sensor located on front of tablet and DTS Audio with support for 24-bit/192 kHz output through the headset jack.
Asus ZenPad 3S 10 comes with all metal body and measures a 240.5 x 163.7 x 5.8-7.16 mm and weighs 430g.
