The new ASUS ZenFone 2 went on sale last month as one of the first smartphones with 4GB of RAM. And now ASUS is planning to launch another variant with a full 128GB of internal space. The company is now reportedly set to launch the variant in Taiwan on Thursday.
Since making its debut in Taiwan in March the ZenFone 2 sold over 100,000 units.
That is double the amount of existing ZenFone 2, which offers 64GB. But the rest of the handset’s remain the same get a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 64-bit 2.3 GHz Intel Atom Z3580 processor and a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera. Android 5.0 Lollipop a 3,000mAh battery and dual-SIM card
ASUS ZenFone 2 64GB model starts at just $199, but the 128GB model will cost around $390 when it makes its debut in Taiwan on June 18.
ASUS hasn’t confirmed whether the 128GB variant will reach the U.S. or other international markets now.
